Villager to Hero

  • Embark on your journey by creating a hero within your village.
  • Choose from three distinct classes:
    • the Warrior, specializing in brute force and defense;
    • the Rogue, excelling in critical strikes and
    • ranged combat; or the Mage, unleashing elemental magic.

As your heroes gain experience, they can undergo advanced training to unlock even greater potential through job advancements.

Players can equip their characters with various items to enhance their abilities.

You have the freedom to create multiple characters and select your active hero upon login.

Stages and Dungeons

The game utilizes a 3x3 grid formation for battles, allowing players to strategically position characters and their weapon ranges. Characters possess both skill

  • Passive skills that provide ongoing benefits
  • active skills that can be randomly triggered during combat.

Battles are automatically resolved on a 3x3 grid, with heroes taking turns to perform actions. The outcome of these battles is determined by factors such as

  • Hero placement,
  • Equipped gear, and
  • Activated skills.

Once ready, venture into the world map which is divided into four unique areas. Within each area, stages progress from the outside border, with stage levels increasing and better rewards as you get closer to the center of the world map (will be available in future updates).

These squares utilize the same land system from League of Kingdoms. As players progress through each stage, they contribute to the overall development of the land, accumulating “land points” that influence the Land NFTs — interoperable in both LOK and LOKC.

Stages are categorized by difficulty:

  • Easy, Normal, Hard, and Hell,
  • catering to different playstyles and skill levels.

Successfully clearing a stage rewards players with valuable equipment, items, and gold.

While traversing stages, various encounters await you. Monsters stand as the primary enemies, offering challenges and rewards upon defeat. You’ll find familiar monsters such as orcs, skeletons, and golems with visual updates as well as some new monsters to encounter. The environment is also populated with interactive objects such as recovery items, buffs, treasure chests, traps, shortcuts, secret shops, rare monsters, and dungeon entrances. The highlight of each stage is a formidable boss. Victory over the boss signifies stage completion and unlocks further progression.

LOKC features two primary dungeon types:

  • Daily Dungeon and the
  • Infinite Dungeon.

Unlike the linear progression of standard stages, dungeons prioritize combat encounters and players will be ranked against each other depending on their progress.

To add an element of unpredictability dungeons incorporate roguelike elements, giving players random buffs as they delve deeper.

Heldengard

After running through stages and dungeons, players will return to the Heldengard, inspired by the castles of League of Kingdoms, which serves as a central hub for management and progression. The Home is the main menu for character and equipment management.

  • The Forge is where equipment is crafted, upgraded, disassembled, and enhanced.
  • The Academy focuses on skill acquisition and character formation for optimal battle strategies.
  • The Shop offers various items and packages for purchase using gold, crystals, or mileage points.
  • The Quest Board allows players to accept and complete quests for rewards.
  • The Nest, a future update, will introduce a system for managing Dragos.

Players will accumulate three primary currencies to help them progress through the game.

  • Gold is the standard in-game currency, earned through gameplay and used for various purposes, such as purchasing items, upgrading skills, constructing village buildings, and enhancing equipment.
  • Crystals are a premium currency acquired through in-app purchases, offering expedited progress.
  • Mileage Points are a reward-based currency granted to players for in-app purchases, which can be used in gold or crystal shops.

Guilds and Party

In LOKC, you start your adventure with your heroes but quickly realize that you need help. You can hire mercenaries to join your team but to truly succeed, you’ll need to team up with other real players to form a guild.

Guilds are powerful alliances. Members help each other with guild quests and work together on research like League of Kingdoms. Even when you’re offline, your heroes can still help your guildmates by joining their party and your hero will receive some gold for being a mercenary.

You can put all your heroes into one guild and use them in both your own adventures and guild activities, but you’ll still need other guild members to create a full team and fully enjoy LOKC.

Guilds also compete against each other in exciting challenges like territory wars, co-op raids, and special guild dungeons. This creates a strong sense of community and shared goals as you work together to defeat enemies and claim victory.

LOKC is about cooperation and competition. You’ll need to work together with your guild to become the strongest force in the game!
